08 Mar 25N Creative Collisions: Inkwell Creative and Preservation Bread & Wine
Catapult Creativity and Growth through @25N Connections
Network. Connect. Work. Grow your business. Whether you’re an entrepreneurial startup, a nonprofit, or remote employee, we can all agree that business sustainability and growth is a goal.
An integral part of the 25N Coworking mission is economic development: for members, partners, collaborators and for Geneva and the surrounding community. So it’s a home run when businesses affiliated with 25N grow in revenue because of this association. We call these collaboration success stories a Creative Collision.
Read on to learn about a creative collision that has its roots in a weekly event powered by @25N Coworking. Tess Bondavalli, Club 25N member, one of the community managers and the founder of the Friday morning Think Tank, shared the story with us.
Collaboration to crow about
Lindsay Galvin, a graphic designer and owner of Inkwell Creative, has been a 25N member since May 2015. Last spring, she mustered the courage to ‘sit in the hot seat’ during one of the sessions of the budding Think Tank powered by 25N and run by Tess Bondavalli.
According to Tess, she opened herself up to talking through new ideas on how to best use her creativity in her work. “She was such a good sport and one of the early success stories that propelled the Think Tank forward,” Tess explained.
Months later, Tess thought of Lindsay when Lawrence Colburn of Preservation Bread and Wine was looking for someone to help him with a new project. Preservation Bread and Wine, 513 S. Third St., Geneva, is a popular lunch Sidekick for 25N.
In March, Colburn will be opening a fried chicken take-out spot next to Preservation. He wants it to have fun, playful branding. Lindsay met with Lawrence and her creativity was instantly kindled.
“I’m thinking of a 50’s sci-fi movie poster kind of thing,” Lawrence tossed out, and Lindsay quickly got to work.
Lindsay enjoyed working on the whimsical project, and Lawrence conveyed that the result was exactly what the new place needed. “The way she interpreted my vision and the uncomplicated process of working with Lindsay has been just what the branding needed,” he explained.

Excited by the successful collaboration, Lawrence says that he will count on Lindsay to continue to assist him with branding. And, it appears 25N will be one of the first places to try the cuisine of Atlas Chicken Shack during its soft opening.
