Our spaces are expertly designed to spark collaboration and productivity, and our cutting-edge technology allows our members to sail through their workday uninterrupted. About Our Team

Mara Hauser, CEO + Founder

Entrepreneur and Mom. Community Catalyst. Addicted to Serendipity.

Mara Hauser is an entrepreneur, an interior designer, a mother of two, and the driving force behind 25N Coworking. A graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in Interior Design, she has been bringing her unique and innovative visions to workplaces nationwide for more than 30 years. Her experience in hospitality and customer service influences her as she works to build environments fit for creativity, collaboration, and community engagement.

A resident of Geneva, IL, Mara is actively involved in numerous civic and philanthropic activities that support the local community, small businesses, and women in business including the Global Workspace Association (GWA) and the League of Extraordinary Coworking Spaces (LExC, for short). Mara is also the recipient of multiple awards and honors including:

  • 2013 Cynthia Bland O’Toole New Venture Award
  • 2015 Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for innovation by the Daily Herald Business Ledger
  • 2015 Mayor’s Choice Award by the City of Geneva (For significant contributions in business and real estate development after transforming a former bank into a 25N Coworking)
  • 2016 Preservation Partners Star Award for preserving and restoring the building housing 25N Coworking in Geneva

Mara and her husband, Randy, are the parents of two daughters, Samantha and Emily. An active family, the Hausers and their dog enjoy vacationing in South Haven, Michigan, whenever possible.

Meagan Schoenrock, Director of Community Development

People-person. Brunch expert. Pilates amateur. Harry Potter enthusiast.

Accidental entrepreneur and resident fun-maker, Meagan is responsible for cultivating 25N’s coworking community, developing collaborator relationships, and serving as liaison to our greater community of engaged citizens, local government, and small businesses & corporations. She also actively participates in collaborative coworking thought leadership with organizations such as the League of Extraordinary Coworking Spaces. On top of all that, she manages the 25N brand and oversees the 25N team—reinforcing our culture as an integral part of the suburban landscape.

Beyond building the 25N brand, Meagan is an active business community leader and award winner.

But Meagan is used to juggling. She’s balanced overlapping jobs at three different marketing agencies and has even operated her own freelance design business—a unique perspective that informs her decision-making as a coworking space operator.

Meagan, a tall Ohio native, has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (Visual Communication) from Northern Illinois University. She likely gained some of her leadership skills while serving as the team captain for the NIU Huskies’ volleyball team. Besides volleyball, Meagan enjoys crafting, entertaining, traveling, and brunch.
